For the Oreo Buttercream 1 stick salted butter – room temperature 1 stick unsalted butter – room temperature 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract 1 1/2 pounds confectioner’s sugar (powdered sugar, 10x) 3-4 tablespoons very cold milk 25 Oreo cookies chopped
Homemade Oreos. These are great!! Not quite like store Oreos, but better. If you want crunchy, flatten cookies so they are pretty thin. For soft, underbake by about a minute. Yum! Also - didn't use shortening for filling, used all butter. Big hit!
Oreo Cookies Bark: 10oz. Ghirardelli white chocolate chips & 15 regular size Oreos, plus 3 more for topping. Melt chocolate in double boiler until melted. Pour into bowl & cool 5 mins. Add chopped Oreos & stir. Pour into parchment lined pan & smooth out on top with spatula. Chill 10 mins. Lift whole bark out of pan by parchment & break into pieces. Enjoy!!!
