U-571 (2000) - Another in a long line of dreadful movies depicting fake Hollywood-style "history." Vastly inferior to "Das Boot" in every way, this ripoff almost reaches parody status. Worst of all, the movie SUBSTITUTES AMERICANS FOR BRITS. The British found and decoded Enigma. What a disgusting falsification of history. Avoid this travesty at all costs. This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

The pianist so hard to watch, knowing it is true, so powerful, lets you really see what was destroyed. That he survived I am grateful.
