Chocolate Almond Brittle - A Favorite! 12/10/15 - I make this every year for Christmas because it is so simple to make and makes a great treat. No candy thermometer needed with this recipe, just a microwave. You do have to work quickly once this comes out of the microwave and you are spreading it on cookie sheet but other than that, it really is easy. I have never used anything other than almonds because that is what my family prefers but I bet macadamia nuts would be over the top in this recipe.
