Amazon.com: The Book Thief (9780375842207): Markus Zusak: Books(This was chosen by my Book Club. I didn't read it.)
The Book Thief / by Markus Zusak. One of my all time favorite books. And I just saw the movie and it was absolutely amazing! I tried so hard not to crazy so, naturally, I cried the whole time.
The Book Thief - Markus Zusak - Google Books - I'm reading this now and this is definitely a book worth reading.
The Book Thief / by Markus Zusak I absolutely love this book, I cannot bring myself to watch the movie it cannot possibly be as good.
***** The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Definitely a book worth reading. This is a look at an inhumane time period, viewed through the eyes of, and narrated by, Death. As Death is haunted by humans, you'll be haunted by this narrative.
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak- I read the book and then saw the movie, and I still can't get enough! WARNING-tear jerker
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. This is another one of those hallowing reads that changes your perspectives and tugs at your heart strings. It's modern and beautiful - and I think they are making a movie of it. Must Read, must see!
Set in Paris (this is a theme ... I guess I need to move there) and glimpsing into the lives of Hemingway (through his wife's eyes) and his cast of writer and artist friends. It's a great compliment to the movie Midnight in Paris. When you're done, you think you know these people ... and you want to read Hemingway ASAP.

The Paris Wife: A Novel (loved it) A deeply evocative story of ambition and betrayal, The Paris Wife captures a remarkable period of time and a love affair between two unforgettable people: Ernest Hemingway and his wife Hadley.
The Paris Wife: A Novel - just read this for my new "book club" in the UK. Great story of Hemingway as narrated by his 1st wife.
May's Book Club pick: The Paris Wife by Paula McLain A fictionalized account of the marriage between Ernest Hemingway and his first wife Hadley living in 1920's Paris.

Worth Reading, Asperger, Books Worth, Jodi Picoult, Reading List, House Rules, Favorite Book, Picoult Book
Haven't finished it yet, but I find myself reading something from nearly every page to my family and saying, "Sounds just like Jordan?" A great novel that pretty much nails Aspergers.
I want to preface this by saying..I am NOT a Jodi Picoult fan! Who wants to read a story of losing your child??? BUT, this book is great. Of course there's a death, but it isn't someone you've had a chance to become attached to (and she's not a little child). Total 2 thumbs up!
Jodi Picoult - House Rules. LOVED this book. Definitely one of my favorite Picoult reads.
I haven't found a Jodi Picoult book I don't like. Not the ending I expected. Recommend!
House Rules by Jodi Picoult. Loved it. Well, love it...I'm still listening.

One of the best books about survival. I am reading parts of it to my eighth graders as part of the World War II curriculum.

Worth Reading, Book Club, Help, Books Worth, Movies, Favorite Books, Kathryn Stockett
"The Help is a 2009 novel by American author Kathryn Stockett. The story is about African American maids working in white households in Jackson, Mississippi, during the early 1960s." --- I have read this book, and soon after, watched the movie when it first came out in August of 2011. What a great read, I highly recommend this book, and movie!
I read this book for my book club. What a great story for a first time author! The story captivated me. Can't wait to finally see the movie!
“You is kind. You is smart. You is important.” ― Kathryn Stockett, The Help I love this book - better than the movie.
The Help by Kathryn Stockett- The previews for the movie looked good so I wanted to read the book first...
The Help a 2009 novel by American author Kathryn Stockett. The book sold over 5 million copies and stayed on the NY Times bestsellers list for 100 weeks. Grade A I enjoyed the book and the movie was pretty close to the book. Liked both.
"The Help" by Kathryn Stockett (Read the book before you see the Academy Award winning movie!)
The Help (Kathryn Stockett) somewhat different from the movie, really really amazing book
The Help by Kathryn Stockett one of my most favorite books

Summer Reading List Little Bee: A Novel by Chris Just started reading this a couple days ago and I am almost positive this will be one of the best books I have read.
Little Bee: A Novel by Chris Cleave, I couldn’t put this book down while I was reading it. So many surprises and mysteries kept me turning the pages. The book shows how strong some people are while others find life difficult to bear. The story is intriguing, but the ending is unresolved. If you don’t need all the loose ends tied up at the end of a novel, you won’t mind the ending. Drezny

Ransom Riggs - Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. I hope the sequel is coming soon and may the movie do justice with the book.
Just as the title says....peculiar...and for that reason worth reading; pin links to author's home page
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs ~ This one is going on my "to read" list.
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. Ransom Riggs. I only read this on John Green's recommendation, but it lives up to it's title. I love nothing more than fantasy well-written enough that you can almost make yourself believe it. I felt the ending was left a little open, though. Sequels? I hope so.
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs -- Tim Burton has entered into talks with Fox to direct and also to be involved in selecting a writer to adapt the book!
"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs" ... Awesome and haunting. As soon as I finished reading, I was turning back to page one for another go! I should read this!
What has happened in Miss Peregrine’s home for peculiar children, children who were, or maybe are, more than extraordinary? A Painted House - John Grisham - Until that September of 1952, Luke Chandler had never kept a secret or told a single lie. But in the long, hot summer of his seventh year, two groups of migrant workers — and two very dangerous men — came through the Arkansas Delta to work the Chandler cotton farm. And suddenly mysteries are flooding Luke’s world.
I love pretty well everything John Grisham has written, but this one stands alone! A Painted House
A Painted House by John Grisham. Ever since he published The Firm in 1991, John Grisham has remained the undisputed champ of the legal thriller. With A Painted House, however, he strikes out in a new direction. As the author is quick to note, this novel includes "not a single lawyer, dead or alive," and readers will search in vain for the kind of lowlife machinations that have been his stock-in-trade. Instead, Grisham has delivered a quieter, more contemplative story, set in rural Arkansas in 1952. It's harvest time on the Chandler farm, and the family has hired a crew of migrant Mexicans and "hill people" to pick 80 acres of cotton. Read More....
