Nice! This is a good way for me to have books on tape for the kids to choose from!

Add some character to your shelving and turn your shutter into a place of organization. Paint it a new color, add some hooks and you’ve created a great piece to add to your home.

Books About Birthdays....celebrate with these fun birthday books for kids!

Wasn't sure about this one at first but it's growing on me. Interesting idea for books; try making it the birding area with the reference guides and bird figurines

Christmas card holder. Now I know what I can do with one of my old shutters that I bought @ a yard sale in Ivanhoe a few years ago, certain that there was something I want to do with them if I could just figure out what!

Love how this built-in is styled. A variety of things/shapes/sizes brought together by a neutral palette and a pop of accent color.

This would be great for organizing all the kids books ....then I could find the topic I would like for us to read on....but that means LOTS of magazine boxes!!!!!!

Turn a dresser into a book shelf. So cute. Shelves would actually be big enough to store scrapbooks!! Great for craft room.

Shutter repurposed into an organisation hub - very cute. Put on a few hooks for keys ...

Easily adaptable to any grade. Pinning this from another's blog. I did not come up with this myself! A book walk! I love this activity for so many reasons. 1) It is great for those who learn best through movement and touch. 2) It gets kids outside. 3) It uses realia to teach vocabulary. Fun fun fun! I must do this with my ESOL class at least once this year!
