    Mermaid sparkly nails

  • Andrea Ramirez

stormy seas nails #NOTD #manicure I used: Sally Hansen Diamond Strength polish in 94 Black Diamond Sally Hansen Xtreme wear Polish in Blue Me Away Daiso polish (clear with small iridescent glitter) Hard Candy Polish in Break Up (clear with big iridescent glitter) To get this look I applied the colored polishes onto a paper plate and dabbed with an eyeshadow sponge tip applicator. I normally use makeup brushes to apply eye makeup so don’t use these often. Just sponge on the medium color halfway up the nail and then the darker one just to the tips. The sparkles cover up any flubs so there’s no need to be perfect! Just remember that the more pressure you use, the more opaque the color will be. 2 coats of Seche Vite topcoat smoothes out the bumps and gives a nice shiny finish. I normally use pinks (hot pink and medium pink) and this is definitely out of my comfort zone when it comes to manis but I like the outcome! :)
