Enzo knows he is different from other dogs: a philosopher with a nearly human soul (and an obsession with opposable thumbs), he has educated himself by watching television extensively, and by listening very closely to the words of his master, Denny Swift, an up-and-coming race car driver.
possibly my favorite book of all time! narrated by 5-year-old jack, this haunting story of what a mother will do to protect her child in even the most unbearable circumstances is heartbreaking, frightening, and in the end, utterly uplifting. i've practically made this required reading for all my friends!
Great trilogy! Craig and I both loved these books. They are also coming out with a Hunger Games movie in 2012...should be interesting to see on the big screen. You will know what I mean after you read it...
I'm working on this now. I'm not "wowed". The story is great but, the writing style is like reading one long column in the newspaper. I'm having trouble finishing it, I'm bored. Marley & Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog -By John Grogan
I'm not even a dog lover and I enjoyed this. Humorous look at life and motivation from a dog's perspective. Also very touching as it lives several lives and what it learnes about what its purpose is in life.
