    An Art Nouveau Ecole de Nancy carved mahogany cabinet circa 1900

    *Un cabinet « japonisant » de l’ébéniste et ornementiste français Édouard Lièvre (1829-1866). Ce cabinet en bois de rose et laque reprend avec fantaisie la forme d’une pagode extrême-orientale, enrichie de bronzes, des dragons s’entortillant autour des colonnettes et des têtes de lion ornant le piètement.
