I love this, if we ever have to have the kids share bedrooms in another house, this would be awesome! Built in, private space. Curtains could be hung. Even without bunk beds, the idea is fantastic for more than one child in a room.
Built-in bunk beds is a great idea to preserve space. The built-in book shelves also help to create more storage for toys, books and etc. The first step of the ladder has been eliminated in order to add under bed storage/trundle.
Photo courtesy of safe kids loft beds. A lot of built-in bunks have a Marine theme and it works nicely for children’s rooms. I love the porthole between the two lower bunks, and the wood treads of the ladder.
A wood-panelled ceiling, antlers on the wall and a wicker trunk used as a bedside table give this room a wilderness-inspired look. A succulent on the table enhances the outdoorsy vibe and zebra toys on the bed make the room kid-friendly.
