I have a long empty wall. I need to do this in shades of green. Inexpensive ceiling medallions are meant to trim out a hanging light fixture, but they also make an interesting wall display (especially if you can find vintage versions!). I love the varying shades of yellow and how the intricate patterns add a nice texture to the space in this example from Better Homes & Gardens. Art made from ceiling rosettes. Can use any color combo might need to try in some empty wall space
So doing this. This was an application done on a restaurant wall.....but how cool would it be to do a smaller version on a wall in the home? The big circles are ceiling medallions and the smaller ones could be those wooden accents you find in the lumber section of the home improvement store? Put them all up and then paint the entire wall the color you want.
Creativity is the best policy...when it comes to saving pennies with home design! Visit your local home improvement or lighting store, pick out a few inexpensive ceiling molds & a shade of spray paint that will pop on your walls... & VOILA, you have affordable and unique wall art!
Ways In Which You Can Creatively incorporate Barn Doors Into Your Home Décor
This room is gorgeous sans furniture! Add the big comfy bed? Priceless! the large windows help to brighten the space-but I'm worried about the nighttime. Would it be too dark? I'd love to see two little chairs and a cute end table rather than the couch-but none-the-less this room is beautiful.
