multifunctional furniture for small living spaces by Simone Simonelli

The Maisonnette (meaning “small house” in French) series is practical, quirky, and just downright fun. The collection of mobile storage pieces was designed by Italian designer Simone Simonelli to fulfill a need of multipurpose furniture with a modern look. Each stylish piece is made from varnished solid alder wood and iron rods and is perfect for small dwellings.

"Maisonnette" in French means small house. The aim here has been to propose a collection of furnitures that meets the contemporary need of sharing functions in the microliving spaces. It is a 3 pieces set: a stand/miniwardrobe, a cart/table and a basket/tray. Materials: solid alder wood treated with natural varnish and iron rod structure.

"Linger A Little Longer" Table by Jay Watson, uses a thermochromic finish to respond to the heat of objects and people, bringing to light the impact of the user on his furniture.
