    Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH is one that I've read aloud to my own kids, but also got to read to a group of third-graders in Tribune, and they were entranced. The mystery of the rats in the rose-bush, the secret of NIMH and Mrs. Frisby's own connection to it — it's superb storytelling and wonderful to hear aloud.
