Instead of a Gingerbread House, which is time consuming and to intrecate for little hands to create, try a "Gingerbread Nativity" instead. Graham Crackers can be subsituted as pictured. Candy characters include "marshmellow & licorice" sheep, "Snickers" horses and "gumdrop" shepards, Mary & Joseph. Toasted coconut serves as hay in the manger along with a miniture marshmellow/gumdrop as Baby Jesus. Complete PDF gives ingredients and guides assembly. A fun Sunday School, club or family activity.

Ginger Manger: I like the idea of recreating a manger every Christmas with your family. This is made of gingerbread, cinnamon sticks and crushed frosted wheats. I have been told you can purchase big bags of cinnamon sticks at the dollar store. They would be perfect for this project.
