An awesome film. Really. "Pirate Radio" is a comedy about the illegal english radio station in the North Sea in the 1960s. The rocking radio was inspired by the Danish illegal radioship "Merkur" that started sending waves in 1958, because the danish state radio was deeply boring.

[capsule review] Love Actually - Watched this again because everyone was talking about it and it was years since I'd seen it. Still a wrapped-up-nicely feel-good movie. (DVD, 12/13/2012)

A father heads overseas to recover the body of his estranged son who died while traveling the "El camino de Santiago," and decides to take the pilgrimage himself.

Last Night. 21/12/12 Interesting movie, very different to usual mainstream films, quite a slow-moving story but well acted and I found it fascinating to watch the simultaneous personal stories and how so many things in life are not black & white. Clever yet frustrating ending.

I forgot how good this one is. Frank Sachs: "I grew up in hell! My grandmother has more attitude than you!"

The movie focuses on an old man reading a story to an old woman in a nursing home. The story he reads follows two young lovers named Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun, who meet one evening at a carnival. But they are separated by Allie's parents who disapprove of Noah's unwealthy family, and move Allie away. This is one of the most romantic all around sweet movies based on the Nicholas Sparks book.

I want to watch this movie about "A look at one year in the life of four babies from around the world, from Mongolia to Namibia to San Francisco to Tokyo. "

Entertaining flick about competing collegiate a capella groups. Seemed to have no less than 4 undeveloped subplots/character relationships but succeeds nevertheless.
