    Cinnamon-Cardamon Kringel Bread: AWESOME recipe on Food52.com blog. The kringel is a celebration loaf from Estonia, Northern Europe. I love the technique for forming the loaf. Essentially, you roll up a cinnamon roll dough, slice the dough tube in half lengthways instead of into slices, and weave the two strands into a ring. This creates a lovely shape as it bakes and each layer rises.

Looks fabulous. The recipe is however not in English and doesn't translate well. Will have to research! Called it Estonian Kringel

Дрожжи растворите в теплом (не горячем!) молоке с сахаром и оставьте на время в теплом месте, чтоб запенились. Сливочное масло (30 г) растопите взбейте с желтком, всыпьте муку, соль, влейте дрожжи и замесите тесто руками.Готовое тесто выложите в промасленную миску и закройте. Оставьте в теплом месте на 1-2 часа или поставьте в выключенную нагретую до 30°C духовку. Сливочное масло (50 г) смешайте с 3-4 ложками сахара и корицей до однородной массы.
