Hummus in the Blender - yummy! if you like spicy hummus, then you'll need to double the amt of spices in this. I don't have a vitamix blender, but my blender worked adequately to make it smooth. will definitely repeat this one!
A great recipe to make with your Vitamix! Red Pepper Hummus 4 cups cooked, drained chickpeas, cooking water reserved or 2 cans of chickpeas 2 cloves garlic cup sesame seeds 1 tsp cumin tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp kosher salt 8 canned piquillo peppers
Jalapeno Lime Hummus (Gluten free, Low fat + Super Simple)
fruit salsa and baked cinnamon sugar chips. Fruit Salsa is great, do not waste your time making whole grain pita chips- they tasted like cardboard. I've found much tastier organic cinnamon pita chips in the stores.
hummus recipe: 1 can chickpeas / 3 tablespoons lemon juice 1 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 3 tablespoons tahini Drain chickpeas, reserving the canning water. Pop chickpeas, 3 tablespoons of the canning water, lemon juice and garlic in a food processor.
