Located on the border of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, Falls are situated in Croatia between Zagreb and Zadar. Sixteen separate lakes made of 12 upper cluster lakes and four lower cluster lakes make for naturally tiered heights that create some of the most gorgeous falls in the world. Another reason that these falls are extremely famous are because the color of the water is known to reflect different colors due to the minerals or organisms in the water. The colors are as varied as sky.
Wailua Falls in Wailua River State Park on the garden island of Kauai, Hawaii - a spectacular 80-foot waterfall. During times of high water, it appears as one single massive fall, but during lower flow, it separates into three different segments. Unlike many of Hawaii's waterfalls, this one IS easily accessible. - photo by wallyg
