This blanket was originally going to include a dark gray color, but after I started adding those stripes, I decided the contrast was too much for a baby blanket. This yarn is beautiful, but I’m a little sad it’s not softer. It will make a good stroller blanket, as opposed to a crib blanket. Since I had less of the natural color yarn than the pattern called for, I changed up the stripe pattern a bit to make it last.
