When needed, only purebond formaldehyde free soy based eco friendly cabinet grade plywood is used. Our slides are made of particleboard with a tough, factory-applied melamine finish similar in appearance to plastic laminate to provide a durable quick slide every time for many years to come. Handcrafted with your child's safety in mind from the design, to the materials, to the greenguard gold certified finishes. We use high quality roller bearing drawer slides. Our beds are designed to meet & exceed the Consumer Product Safety Commission standards. 6-8" mattresses are suggested. The Consumer Product Safety Commission does not suggest lofts be used by children under the age of 6.
