5 months into exclusively pumping and here's what I wish I knew the first time:
-Set a schedule and stick to it. This is especially important at the beginning when building your supply.
-Don't skip on the hands free or wearable to use alongside a primary.
-The pitcher method
-Measure for correct flange size.
-Replace your pump parts frequently - and it's probably more often than you think. Older parts = less suction = less output.
-Freeze your milk in a variety of amounts.
Exclusive pumping is a lot of work and for some, not always a choice. Remember, comparison is the thief of joy and things like how you feed your baby or how much milk you produce does not define you!
