Fushimi Inari

This is the Fushimi Inari Shrine complex found in Kyoto. Kyoto is the old capital of Japan and the residence for the Emperor from 794 until 1868. It is now the country's seventh largest city with a population of 1.4 million people. Over the years, Kyoto has been destroyed by many wars and fires, but escaped the air raids of World War II due to it's historic value.
