Motherboard Fly Tops

Inspired by the instruments enabling my digital creation, the Fly Tops are an ode to the computer that created it. The motherboard texture and USB cable shoelaces with emissive lights, to me that is the physical representation of digital fashion, and designer wanted to interpret the PC into a digital fashion aesthetic. About the collection: Having studied fashion print at Central Saint Martins, this graduate collection is Chrisite's first digital fashion drop debut. They were the first student to showcase digital fashion on a physical runway, and the inspiration came from the idea of remixing everyday mundane contexts and environments digitally in an absurd way. The designer is inspired by the aesthetics of the internet and the digital UI, and tries to reinterpret things that are typically seen on a screen as 3D objects or textures.
