Name based on the Polish word "Skryty" (meaning secretive, secret, clandestine, uncommunicative, underhand, mysterious), the small town of Skrybane, hidden away in north-eastern Maine, is as elusive and isolated as its meaning describes. The town is unheard of and mysterious, and its residents are even more so.
