The worksheets in this packet are very basic and concentrate solely on a focus word. The aim is to familiarize the student with the new sight word and to reinforce correct letter sequencing to form the word.The pages in this packet are designed for use as worksheets. However, you can create a reusable activity: laminate the pages, cut out the letter tiles from the bottom and attach velcro dots to the backs. Tasks include: writing the focus sight word on writing lines, writing the focus word inside boxes, identifying the focus words among other words of varied fonts and then cutting and pasting letter tiles in correct order to make the focus word.Directions for editing1. Please make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed on your computer. You can get it here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/2. This packet does not include a word list that automatically populates all the pages, therefore each page must be completed individually. Start by typing the focus word in the black box at the top of each page. This will automatically populate the words on the writing lines and the boxes. Next, type a variety of words and incorrectly spelled words inside the box for the Find and circle it section. Then type the focus word in a mixed up order below the cutting line.RICH TEXT DOCUMENT: This file will enable you to edit the font type and size. Enter the field you wish to edit and press CTRL + E.
