Shana’s original art is painted on Arches hot pressed watercolor paper. Made the traditional way, on a cylinder mould, this paper is 100% cotton and has a harmonious natural grain. It is smooth to the touch, has a beautiful lasting whiteness, and a raw edge. Some of Shana’s paintings feature gold & silver inks. These particular inks are formulated from a series of soluble dyes in a superior shellac solution, have a brilliance of color, and have been used by calligraphers, illustrators, and artists since their introduction in the 1890’s. This piece must ship flat and so special shipping rates apply.
