It not only ensures that we are reducing our own effect on the mining industry and its impact on the environment, but also allows you to recreate a beloved piece of jewellery in a new and personal design. The rustic and irregular nature of our sandcast range comes from Justin's own technique; as the name suggests, each ring is cast in beach sand. With a different mould used each time, every ring is totally unique - make it that little bit more special by sending us your own sand or picking one from our collection (we can send you our grand list!). That sounds great - but where do I start? 1. Browse through our shop. Think about the width and profile you like. 2. Weigh your gold. Here's a generous *rough idea* of weights for different widths: 1.8mm - 1.5g 2mm - 3g 3mm - 4.5g 4mm - 6g 5mm - 8.4g 6mm - 10.2g 7mm - 13.5g 8mm - 15.5g 9mm - 18g 10mm - 22.5g If you don't quite have enough metal, we can top it up for you. Please contact us first as metal prices vary. 3. Post your metal to us and you can expect your new ring to be made in 4-6 weeks. If you have any gemstones or would like to incorporate any gemstones into a design, please don't hesitate to get in touch first as this considerably changes the price due to the work involved. Our rings are always packed in a rustic cardboard box for delivery, complete with a small brochure and care pack. The care pack includes a leaflet with instructions on how to look after the piece, as well as a polishing cloth and small scourer to keep the finish of the piece. Delivery: Shipping is free worldwide - this does not include customs fees that will be incurred if you are taking delivery outside of the UK. The estimated dispatch date will be within four to six weeks as each piece is made to order. We can occasionally make pieces more quickly on request, however this is highly dependent on material availability and is not always possible during busy periods. We prefer to work with you to ensure that the ring will be suitable and therefore not returned. This is especially likely if the item is of high value, e.g. with precious metals or gemstones. We reserve the right to exclude items from the thirty-day refund policy, and will always contact you prior to their manufacture if this is the case. Refunds will be made by the original method of payment. Because all of our rings and pieces are handmade to the size ordered, we cannot offer exchanges for different ring sizes. We will also not refund if it is evident that more than one ring was purchased with the express intention of choosing between them and returning one for a refund. Because all our rings are handmade to the size you order you cannot swap a sized ring for a different size without paying the resize charge. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase you may return it to us in its original unworn condition (trying for size accepted) within thirty days immediately after the signed receipt date. When we have received the item(s) we will offer you a full refund. This excludes titanium rings. These cannot be resized more than two sizes either way and can't be returned. If you're worried about the style we can send you a silver version first. Postage costs will only be refunded if there is a fault with the item. For hygienic and health and safety reasons all earring studs will not be accepted for return. Refunds may not be authorised for bespoke items and rings received back more than thirty days after dispatch. When we do accept these items back, they will usually be subject to administration or restocking charges. We can resize most of our rings at a charge of £40.
