I've got a reader's home to share with you today, thanks to Kathleen: I am a painter and interior design student from Leuven, Belgium and I love all vintage and retro things. I am a big fan of the Brussels flee markets and thrift stores and furnished almost all my house with it. I live for 15 years in my house now - a 1930's midterraced, 2 storey house in the university town of Leuven. My painting and windows are on: kathleenmineetalage.weebly.com.

Paris based designer Patrick Nadeau created this hip and flexible planter for the German brand Authentics. Aptly called Urban Garden Bag, the piece offers a modern way to create an indoor garden when space is tight. Made of black coated polyester fabric, the Urban Garden Bag is lined with an inner sack of watertight PVC geomembrane.

I never can manage to come up with them myself, but I love super duper simple DIY projects. I have such admiration for people who see something and then, boom, a couple minutes later they have turned it into something totally different. Quick, easy, no muss or fuss: three-step projects are awesome. I’m going to make it my mission to hatch ideas for some this summer. This is a fantastic example, and it will serve as the inspiration for my goal.
