Stonington Gallery Opening Reception, 6-8pm  Artist will be in attendance at opening for an exhibit tour at 6pm.     We are proud to present the first American gallery exhibit of contemporary Vancouver artist Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas (Haida tribe). His dynamic work has been seen in museums and galleries across Canada, Asia and Europe, but he makes his Seattle debut with Stonington Gallery and the Seattle Art Museum

Mark Mitchell is a Seattle-based artist who addresses ceremony and tribute through textiles Over the next 5 months, Mark will use our facility to conduct research and begin production on Burial II, a new body of work that tackles issues of racial disparity, the school-to-prison pipeline, and solitary confinement. #TheNewFoundationSeattle http://www.thenewest.org/news/
