Bossaso by CK Somalia, via Flickr----- This 18 year old girl came in under full grand mal. If the clinic could not have done a cesarean (impossible just a few years ago before UNICEF supplied them with desperately needed equipment), she and her son would be dead.

Bossaso Hospital by CK Somalia, via Flickr- This 18 year old girl was in labour for 2 days. Her mother somehow hired a car in the middle of nowhere and the two of them traveled through trecherous and dangerous mountains and deserts in scorching heat for 2 days with no food or water. Another day in labour in the clinic before a life saving C-section was given to her. Daughter and mum are fine. Grandmother said she didn't give birth at home due to laziness.
