cord wood chicken coop!! These cord wood sheds can also be built with mortar in between the wood, which would be better protection from mice and snakes. (click thru to see more inspiring cabins and sheds built from cord wood)

My coop was a dog house that I bought for $40.00 on Craigs List. My son helped me pop out the sides for nesting boxes. We build lids that raise for easy access to the eggs, and built a pen around it. I'm in the process of remodeling the run, but I can use all of my wood and wire over again. The little house is a good start to learn about raising chickens. 4.jpg
