Animal Characteristics & Fact Organizer Flip Books, and Classification Posters
Zoo Trail Mix! Just mix together animal crackers (I used the regular and chocolate varieties from BJs), goldfish, Craisins, m&ms, Froot Loops, and pretzels! I would have added almonds or peanuts, but tried to be allergy friendly! The kids lovvvvved it!
preschool art projects: when learning about animals they could make these plate lions! They work on their cutting skills by cutting the mane. And they work on coloring by doing the rest. Then explain to them things that lions do or eat and what types of animals are similar. Maybe make these along with a book about a lion.
