Multicultural Books for Kids
Collection by PragmaticMom • Last updated 1 day ago
Despite census data that shows 37% of the US population consists of people of color, only 10% of children’s books published have diversity content. We'd like to change that. The focus of this board is to highlight children's authors and illustrators of color and high quality children's books with diversity themes and/or characters. To join this board, please email pragmaticmomblog (at) gmail (dot) com. Lovingly edited by PragmaticMom.com and JumpIntoaBook.com.

9 People Who Changed The World: Nobel Peace Prize Picture Books
It surprises me that only a few of the Nobel Peace Prize recipients are represented in picture books for children.
