Young adult/adult fairy tale: I found this fun little surprise of a book a few years before the Coraline movie came out. Similar idea - a young unhappy boy finds a strange land in a secret room that SEEMS so much better than his real life. Very dark. . . probably more for adults, but can be read by mature children who like scary stories. I would love to see this as a movie!

bookfessions #426. I have a love/hate relationship with ereaders. I love them because I can carry as many books with me as I want. I hate them because I miss the feeling and smell of a real book in my hands.

Can't wait until I have the time to read for me again.
