The Kittens' Tea Party by Walter Potter (Image: Mark Hill/APEX, via The Telegraph)
A bizarre collection of stuffed animals that was broken up and sold around the world seven years ago has been reassembled for a one-off exhibition. The eccentric works of Victorian taxidermist Walter Potter, in which stuffed animals mimic human life, were sold for more than 500,000GBP in 2003. Celebrities including Harry Hill, photographer David Bailey and artist Peter Blake snapped up pieces from the 10,000-item collection in Mr Potter's eerie Museum of Curiosities i

The firefly squid because of tiny "photophores in their bodies, they are causing this beautiful bioluminescent phenomenon in Toyama Bay, Japan. Tiny photophores can be found by thousands in the squid’s body, creating the ability to emit light. The firefly squid normally are living at 1200 feet underwater, but waves in the Toyama bay pushes them to the surface, from March to June." -Morgan ABBOU

Firefly squids live in Toyama Bay, Japan and illuminate a blue glow produced by moonlight that has been captured in their outer membranes...I'm pretty sure I've seen either these squid or a jelly fish that glows blue in the Bahamas too.
glowing jellyfish in Toyama, Japan; the blue lights on the sea coast are glowing firefly squid
THE BLUE LIGHTS ON THE SEA COAST ARE GLOWING FIREFLY SQUID ON THE BEACH OF TOYAMA, JAPAN. EACH TENACLE HAS A ORGAN CALLED A PHOTOPHORE, WHICH PRODUCES LIGHT. WHEN FLASHED THESE LIGHTS ATTRACT SMALL FISH, ON WHICH THE SQUID CAN FEED. WOW, MUST BE AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL SIGHT......:)
The glowing firefly squid are pushed to the shore's edge by the current while spawning in the bay of Toyama, Japan... Everyone who really knows me also knows how I feel about jellyfish! Ah

Vasa is a Swedish warship built 1626-1628. The ship foundered and sank after sailing less than a nautical mile (ca 2 km) into its maiden voyage on 10 August 1628. It fell into obscurity after most of its valuable bronze cannon were salvaged in the 17th century. After it was located again in the late 1950s in a busy shipping lane just outside the Stockholm harbor, it was salvaged with a largely intact hull in 1961 .... amazing!

VASA MUSEUM, Stockholm, Sweden - The Vasa sank in Stockholm Harbour in 1628. The pride of the King of Sweden sank after traveling only half a mile and she keeled over in a gust of wind and the sea poured in her open gunports, taking her to the bottom of Stockholm Harbour.. Luckily only 30 odd lives were lost. She was salvaged in 1961 and preserved in this specially built museum. There are many artifacts, as well as the remains of several who lost their lives, here.
