Milan fashion week: Donatella Versace felt it was time for a change – it started with a new venue, a vast industrial space and a collection that combined a utilitarian sportswear feel and focused on street style and daywear. Importance was placed on the ease of dressing: dresses were tied with a knot, not a complex bow. Prints were a mix of animal (a big trend in Milan) and camouflage. It appears to be a new era for the house – sometimes a little shake-up is a good thing.
