Pay Attention And so, as you become consciously aware of your emotions, you will always know how you are doing with the allowing part of your Creative Process, and you will never again misunderstand why things are turning out the way they are. Your emotions provide a wonderful guidance system for you, and if you will pay attention to them, you will be able to guide yourself to anything that you desire. Abraham Hicks

In August of 1969 - More than 500,000 people attended the Woodstock Music Festival in upstate New York. Despite many logistical problems over the course of the 3 days, being grossly under-prepared for the number of attendees, and a torrential thunderstorm, the free festival is hailed by many as the pinnacle positive moment of the 1960's cultural era.
A different viewpoint of the famous WOODSTOCK music festival... with a clear reminder that thousands of people showed up at a farm in the mountains....

Seals & Crofts Diamond Girl ( Full Album ) (+playlist)
Seals and Crofts is a band made up of Jim Seals - born James Seals, October 17, 1941, in Sidney, Texas - and Dash Crofts from Cisco, Texas. The soft rock duo was one of the most successful musical acts of the 1970s. They are best-known for their hits "Summer Breeze" and "Diamond Girl." Jim played guitar, sax and fiddle with the duo. Seals joined a band called Dean Beard and the Crew Cuts where he played guitar; later on Crofts joined the band. With Beard, they moved to Los Angeles to join The Champs. In 1963, Jimmy Seals, Dash Crofts, Glen Campbell, and Jerry Cole left The Champs to form a band named "Glen Campbell and the GCs" which played at The Crossbow in Van Nuys, CA. The band only lasted a couple of years before the members went their separate ways. Crofts returned to Texas and Seals joined a band named The Dawnbreakers (a reference to a book about the beginnings of the Baha'i Faith by the same name.) (Press album cover for direct link to the entire Amazon Website): ----- Crofts eventually returned to California to join The Dawnbreakers. After the failure of that group, the two decided to play as a duo, with Seals on guitar, saxophone and violin, and Crofts on guitar and mandolin. Their first album with Warner Brothers was unsuccessful, but their second album, Summer Breeze charted at #7 in 1972. The record of the same name sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc by the R.I.A.A. in December 1972. After a long and successful run of recordings in the 1970s,the duo disbanded in 1980, to focus on other things. Both of them went on to become public advocates of the Bahá'í Faith. They reunited briefly from 1991–1992 and again in 2004, when they released their final album, Traces. Seals moved to Costa Rica and has lived on a coffee farm off and on since 1980. ----- For more, visit Seals & Crofts Official Website ####

Carole King - Tapestry; still my favorite album. It played on saturdays when we cleaned house growing up and I played it in College on Saturdays...
Carole King, whose album Tapestry is one of the best-selling recordings by a single artist (more than 13 million copies had been sold) and who has won several Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year, in 1971, a first for a woman. Carol King, Tapestry -- probably my favorite album all time. I have had it in every medium possible too!
Carole King - Tapestry 1971 ( Full Album ) #1 Best Singer Songwriter....Carly Simon #2 (Sorry Carly)
Carole King - Tapestry (1971) – Carole King is a great singer-songwriter. Jason Ankeny (AllMusic) states her songwriting work with Gerry Goffin resulted in “-over 100 chart hits in a vast range of styles-” Tapestry, which includes 7 of 12 songs written solely by her, won four Grammy Awards in 71 and became “-the best-selling album of the era-” It is a fabulous album and I enjoyed: I Feel the Earth Move*So Far Away*It's Too Late*You've Got a Friend, etc. on vinyl again today (6/24/2014).
Carole King - Tapestry was one of my favorite albums when I was in high school.

In 1964 Mary Quant introduce the mini skirt to the world of fashion. It became an instant sensation about teenage girls and young women around the world.
Mary Quant is rightfully credited with making the mini skirt a popular style that had not taken off when it made its earlier debut in France. Description from classygals.hubpages.com. I searched for this on bing.com/images
1960's photo...mini skirt revolution...and the baby boomer's..talk about the younger generation's short dresses and skirts...we have nothing on them..
The 1960’s was time of change, and as far as fashion was concerned, “[f]or the first time ever in any fashion era, the young became the leaders of fashion.” Thus, came British designer Mary Quant and the Chelsea Look. Quant raised skirt lengths to new heights with the “mini” skirt, and though she was not the first to develop the style, she is credited as the designer who made it popular. The photograph below depicts a young woman in the classic 1960’s &#...
What a great cause. Mini Skirt Revolution.
While the bikini liberated beach goers in the late 1940s and early 1950s ( the bikini was named after the atomic bomb testing site, by the way), the mini skirt brought youthful daring and sexuality to everyday fashion in the 1960s. As the song said, "in olden days, a glimpse of stockings was looked on as something shocking." Hem lines traveled higher and lower, but the mini skirt took things to the outer limits. As street wear, it forced the old and new generations to confront qualities that Mary Quant used to describe her Mini car yesterday: "optimistic, exuberant, young, and flirty." How did people react in the mid-1960s? Responses were similar to bikini wearers in the 1940s and to Bardot for popularizing the two-piece in the early 1950s, some interest aroused along with a large dose of conservative outrage. Here's a clip with "man on the street" style interviews.
