Tattoo I want if I have a little boy. A quote from my favorite book as a child The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.
The Giving Tree. I've decided if I ever have a baby boy I am getting this as a tattoo but with script lettering
"And she loved a little boy very, very much - even more than she loved herself." This quote - for my boy... - The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein
Shel Silverstein - The Giving Tree - not about a romantic love, indeed not even about a love with a happy ending, but nevertheless, a good reminder . I love this book. It reminds of the little boys I loved that are now men.
The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein was and is my favorite book. I have a decal of the boy and the tree on my laptop currently but thinking of getting something a bit more permanent and getting it tattooed on my inner bicep!
and she loved a little boy very, very much... Ahhh The Giving Tree...my favorite favorite book....I always hoped my children would learn the lesson of the book....sadly they never caught on.
The Giving Tree. One of my favorite books as a kid. Need to read it to my son.
The Giving Tree quote. tattoo idea?
#Nineteen Minutes - Jodi Piccoult
Worth Reading, Books Movies, Books I Ve, Books Worth, Books Books, Favorite Books, Favorite Author, Picoult Book
By far my favorite Jodi Picoult book and in my top five favorite books ever read. It is a gut wrenching novel about a school shooting. Picoult is an amazing author that can take a black and white situation and form an area of grey in your mind
One of my favorite Jodi Picoult books, and the first book I read from her. It really opens your eyes to both sides of the story. In society today, school shootings and bullying are a hot topic and this book explores both sides of the story, and you find yourself having compassion and empathy for the side that is not always seen in a positive light.
The pressures of high school and a school shooting are all rolled into one in this book. And I've all the other Jodi Picoult books I've read.
This is my favorite Jodi Picoult book. It's about a 17-year-old high school student who has been bullied for years, and one final incident pushes him over the edge and leads him to commit school shooting.
Nineteen Minutes was an amazing story. It kept me hooked from beginning to end. Definitely a book worth reading more than once!
This, along with The Pact, is my favorite book! It's not written about Columbine, but it's very similar. Jodi Picoult was actually writing this when she was on her book tour in Minnesota (my home state). A school shooting occurred in Winona, Minnesota during that time and Picoult took quotes from the news report. This intrigued me to read it once it was published.
My absolute favorite author, and my second favorite book by her <3

Squishy Bag ~ Hair Gel, Food Coloring, Glitter. Great to practice letters!
creative and pretty way to practice letters & numbers!Squishy Bag - A tactile/multisensory approach to pre-writing and writing skills The more multisensory you make an activity, the more likely they are to retain the information. I made these in my classroom when I was a teacher, as many of my students had sensory processing difficulties. I would use duct tape to affix all sides to thick (cut) pieces of white poster board so I could whip them out any time I wanted to use them. This is a great activity for practicing pre-writing skills such as "down", "over", "around", etc. as well as writing skills - like letters. In addition, it offers a great therapeutic/calming effect for some children. AK MESE, MECD Things you need - Gallon size Ziploc bag, glitter (optional), food coloring, hair gel (dollar store)
