I love flavored coffee. A good latte is divine. The problem is, if you don’t already know, I can’t have caffeine, dairy or refined sugar. Darn. I can’t even go into a coffee shop anymore because even though I can have nut milk, I always ask to read the ingredients on what they are serving, and it almost always has cane sugar and carcinogens like carrageenan. The decaf coffee is rarely organic (non-organic decaf is made with tons of chemicals) and they most definitely don’t have any sweeteners I can have like organic coconut sugar or agave. If I’m lucky, they have local honey, but don’t meet the other two qualifications. I’m really a joy to have a coffee date with – I get water.  The good news is there is an organic cold-pressed juicing company selling an incredibly delicious Coffee Cashew Cinnamon Agave drink which inspired this post. Have you seen it? It’s off the charts! Yes, I had some caffeine because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about -  and the fuss was on point. It’s delectable. It’s also $12.99 for a 16 oz. drink! I bought it when it was on super sale at Whole Foods, then I decided to replicate it. I figured if I can make it with decaf and then I’ll be set. For. Life.
