1967 coins - minted for Canada's centennial year. There was a 1967 penny in the same collection where I saw a 1930 one the other day. It's really cool to see coins that carry some historical significance.
Because of their thickness and composition, Buffalo nickels became popular with artists who would transform the designs into other works of art. During the Great Depression, it was a pastime of "hobos" and the name hobo nickel was coined. Today hobo nickels are sought after collectibles.
