Looking at Amazon to pin, maybe I shouldn't have read this, and sold it instead! I purchased it at the end of my senior year and never read it. Finally, I did as part of reading all the books on our shelves. It was fine. Not amazing, just fine. Wonder if I would have liked it more had I read it upon purchase?
Even got to see Mr. Gunn and have him sign it! Overall I agree with him, but there are a couple of areas I don't. 1) Stockings and tights should always be in fashion. I don't like all this bare-leggedness no matter what. 2) Fur has properties man-made products don't. Also, you can't get very high and mighty about fur if you wear leather and eat meat. Otherwise, two thumbs up!
More reading everything on the bookshelves. This one has taken a while to get going, and I prefer the character backstory to the "dream sequences" (for lack of a better term). However, I will see where it goes. I think there is a reason that Trainspotting was made into a successful film, and this was not.
Another trivia book. I would not have read it otherwise. Of the Marvel universe, X-Men is the only series I don't mind. However, this one was bad. Poorly written, and the illustration was lacking. But, I read it. Hopefully, this one has the fewest questions.
Part of my project of reading everything on our bookshelves. I bought this way back when Trainspotting came out. I read Trainspotting and loved it, bought this and never read it until now. I kind of hope someone on the bus reads it over my shoulder one of these days just to see what the reaction would be.
