Museum Trip by Barbara Lehman is fantastic. This wordless book has a clear strong message – that if exposed children can loose themselves in art, it opens a new world with new adventures before unseen! The story opens with a little boy on a school field trip to a museum, he looses his group , and soon finds himself in the art. After completing many mazes he is given a medal before he rejoins his group.
MUSEUM TRIP by Barbara Lehman - On a field trip to an art museum, a little boy stops to tie a lace and loses his class. Obvious alarm at the multiplicity of empty corridors branching out before him gives way to curiosity as he enters a small room with a display case of mazes—and then he’s in the mazes, moving from one to the other with happy accomplishment until he is awarded a medal at the center of the very last.
GoReaderGo.com recommends Museum Trip as one of our favorite wordless picture books.

Unspoken: A Story from the Underground Railroad (Henry Cole) - historical fiction, wordless picture book
Unspoken: A Story From the Underground Railroad: Henry Cole #undergroundrailroad #February This gorgeous story doesn't need words. One of the most powerful picture books I've ever experienced.
This is a wordless book. I use it when I talk about story language. I tell children they could write one sentence that tells what this book is about- ‘A little girl went to the beach and had fun.’ Or they can say something much richer like “Splash! Splash! I play in the waves.” That’s story language. I have them turn and talk and come up with rich story language for each page.

Here's a story about love and loss as only Chris Rashcka can tell it. Any child who has ever had a beloved toy break will relate to Daisy's anguish when her favorite ball is destroyed by a bigger dog. In the tradition of his nearly wordless picture book Yo! Yes?, Caldecott Medalist Chris Raschka explores in pictures the joy and sadness that having a special toy can bring. Caldecott winner 2012.

Chalk by Bill Thomson. Great wordless picture book.
Skeptical about wordless picture books? Victoria was. "I thought the whole point of picture books was to help kids learn to read?" But considering she gave Chalk 5 stars, we think she's been convinced.
Raarrrr! Dinosaur Picture Books
Good Dog, Carl book depository amazon by Alexandra Day is a fun book, if you can get over the fact that a mother leaves her baby in the charge of a rottweiler! With endearing illustrations and lots of humour, we follow the baby's adventures during their eventful day, including sliding down the laundry chute and swimming in the fish tank. Carl, the rottweiler, then bathes the infant, cleans up all the mess and waits nonchalantly for the mother to come home. Wordless Book

Good Dog, Carl by Alexandra Day, "Look after the baby, Carl, I'll be back shortly." A great children's book
Good Dog, Carl -- by Alexandra Day. Excellent series of picture books for kids.
Good Dog, Carl By Alexandra Day Wordless book The mother leaves the child with the dog. They dog and child have fun throughout the day. But right before the mother gets home, the dog puts the baby back in the crib and cleans the house up. Little kids love the dog in the book. The dog can have such a mean character if it is trained that way but they can be very protective of kids if they are trained for that too. Ironic book.
Fun story, many googly eyes!

Children's Books: Good Night Gorilla by Peggy Rathmann: In this practically wordless bedtime story, a weary zoo keeper bids good night to his charges and then goes home to bed. He doesn't notice, however, that clever Gorilla has pickpocketed his keys
2. Good Night, Gorilla by Peggy Rathmann (Putnam, $6) Lull your little monkey to sleep with this bedtime picture book.
Good Night, Gorilla by Peggy Rathmann, I would argue this is better than Goodnight Moon. Each time I read it I notice new little details - the matching keys, the red balloon, etc - and that lil' gorilla is just so darn lovable and mischievous. ★★★★★
"Tuesday": Another winner from David Wiesner. Frogs in a pond resting on their lily pads lift off, using their pads as a sort of botanical magic carpet. They zoom all over town, through a woman's living room, going back to their pond at sunrise. This multi-award winning book is a little bit science fiction, a little bit noir, and all in all a real treat.

Winner of a Caldecott Medal Award and also one of the ALA Children’s Book titles, this is one that will become a favorite from the first time you read it. David Wiesner has used more imagination than anything else with this story that is more pictures than words. With the colorful and vibrant illustrations, you can ‘read’ the book by looking at the pictures. Frogs are the focus, enjoying themselves as only frogs can, on lily pads, in the swamp, and into town, the frogs are out to have fun. That is until morning comes. Tuesday night is their time and enjoying this book with a little one may make it your time too.
