Reading levels at a glance. This could be a great way to save paper (reading groups are adjusted often). I often use post-its on a table; this would be easier since I could just pull it out and move names around rather than fumbling with post-its.

Guided Reading - what a great idea for smaller reading groups! Print the sheets out on brightly colored paper and laminate them so they'll last all year. You can even do something similar for math!

Good color code tips for English class. All steps look easy to use for class and also colorful.

(These will also become our reading strategies for the language part of the book mark). Colour-code each of the strategies, students had to hunt and indicate where they had checked / fixed / added them in their answers (using the correct colour to match the strategy). Such a great visual for them!

Reading in Content Areas #2- Diary of a Spider Fact Activity- This activity consists of a "Fact" and an "Opinion" spider. After reading the book "Diary of a Spider", the students would place the slips of paper on the spider for which one they belong to. This could also be used before the story is read and then see which ones were correct.
