Asafo111 - Very fine museum quality flag from the first half of the C20th with an unusual image where an inverted elephant is framed by two men, one holding a cleaver, the other a large palm leaf. I have not seen another version of this imagery and have no idea what proverb it represents. This is an extremely well executed flag in a classic style that was associated with a small group of Asafo flag artists in the villages of Saltpond and Kromantse.
