Mosquito trap - No more mosquitos!! Cut the top off a 2 liter bottle. Invert the cone and place it inside the bottle. Glue the two pieces together. Add 1 tsp yeast and 1/2 cup sugar to some luke warm water, and pour the mixture into the bottle. Mosquitoes are attracted to the carbon dioxide that you exhale. The yeast feeds off the sugar and emits the same gas, so the mosquito enters the bottle, thinking she will find food there. FLIES LOVE THIS!!! Have caught 1000's of flies!!

DIY Firestarters from Toilet Paper Rolls and Lint
(great to remember for move-out or in) Place a dishwasher-safe cup filled with plain white vinegar on the top rack of the dishwasher. Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle. The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor. Next, sprinkle a cupful of baking soda around the bottom of the tub and run it through a short cycle. The baking soda will help freshen and removing stains.... good to do every 6 mths
Washing your washer. Another pinner said: Seriously easy, no wonder our clothes were not getting clean... after the second soak, the water was GROSS!!! --

No scrub way to clean stove burners - Seal in a bag for 12 hours with some ammonia. The fumes loosen the baked on grime, which will wipe right off. Stick it outside overnight since the fumes stink if the bag leaks. Dispose of properly. Never, NEVER ever mix ammonia with bleach (or anything else). Ammonia and bleach together make a toxic fume that can kill you!
