I love how this signs creates URGENCY in shopping. Signs DO silently sell and the (pain avoidance reminder) sign above is a pretty effective way to remind customers that failing to purchase the item now may cause regret (pain) later.
It is not often one sees the strategy of Interrupted Pattern applied to a display. While all shirts sport a tie, the pale turquoise shirt does not. This interrupted pattern attracts attention. The objective of applying the strategy of Interrupted Pattern is to cause customers to do a double take or attract their attention. In this case, it made me look twice!
Feature displays are supposed to attract the eye and lead to the eventual purchase of the item. The featured items on the mannequin are easily accessible in the clothing rack behind the display. This is how feature displays are ideally done. Catch the customer’s eye, then lead them to where the products can be accessed. Too often I see clothes I am interested in displayed on a body form, only to have a hard time looking where it is located in the store.
