The Miracle Mask. This DIY mask, made of nutmeg, honey, and cinnamon, is calming and soothing for stressed-out skin – in addition, it smells absolutely amazing! The secret? Nutmeg and honey act as natural anti-inflammatories, which can reduce swelling and redness in skin. They’re also great for soothing acne scars and preventing infection. In addition, the nutmeg and cinnamon also work to exfoliate your skin when you wash this mask off.

I have to say, I didnt' dig this. at. all. Too oily and it didn't have any kind of "stick" to my lips so it was just oily and felt like it disappeared right away. So this is what I did to salvage the batch and make it one that I'm really liking right now! (BTW, I started out with a half recipe which is why my measurements will look a lot different than the original). Ingredients: *1/2 T of jojoba oil *1 T of honey *1/4 - 1/2 tsp of shaved beeswax *1/4 tsp of cocoa butter *2 drops of vitamin e *1 drop of ginger (because I'm on a ginger kick right now!) Lightly warm all of the ingredients except the honey and essential oil. Warm until the beeswax and cocoa butter melt and then add the honey until it warms slightly. Remove from heat, add your essential oils and then put in a tin or whatever you are going to use to store the gloss. I really like this. It's slick enough to be a gloss w/o being soley oily or too sticky like a balm. :)

Be careful where you get your honey. Google Honey from China and you will see the potential health problem and risk. Now that our country is no longer accepting China honey they are sneaking it in through India. Only buy local honey!!

Use once a week. It is said that it 'doubles' hair growth. Combine 1 tsp. honey, 2 tsp. olive oil and 1 -2 tsp. coconut oil w/one half mashed avocado. Massage into dry hair, wait 10 to 15 min, shampoo/condition as normal.

Coconut milk helps the hair grow long and thick,” says Indian ayurvedic skincare expert Pratima Raichur. (The kind from a can is fine.) “Rub it onto the scalp, leave it on for an hour or so, then wash it out.”
