I made a container in highschool using this same technique and have been wanting to do something similar again ever since. Then, it was a great idea but it looked terrible, lol, but now I know I could make something really cool :)
I thought that this was a really cool coiled pottery piece. The roses on the outside add a textural dimension that my other piece did not have. I think that the roses outside are very pretty, and I think that it is interesting how many different techniques there are for coil pottery.
