At the beginning of the year, make several "New Student" bags with welcome letters, name tags, birthday tags, etc. Anything that a new student will need. This will save a lot of time when you find out on a Friday that you are getting a new student Monday-so this is for a teachers but has some good ideas that can be used for other things like small groups & more with a few changes...
