Why a tomato cracks and what to do about it and a lot of other information about caring for tomato plants
Tomatoes Crack, Yard Gardens, Vegetables Gardens, Gardens Yard, Tomatoes Plants, Crack Tomatoes, Outdoor Gardens, Tomatoes Problems, Gardens Growing
Why a Tomato Cracks and What to Do About It Tomato cracks (sometimes called “growth cracks”) are a problem associated with growing conditions. Dry weather that gives way to excessive watering or a rainy period can lead to cracking. Here’s what happens when a tomato cracks: Tomato plants get too much water too fast. A tomato’s interior grows quickly as it absorbs the extra water from rain or disproportionate watering, but it expands too fast.

Got Weeds? Use Vinegar
Gardens Ideas, Green Thumb, Vinegar Weed, Kill Weed, Weed Control, Weed Killers, White Vinegar, Vinegar Kill, Round Up
Vinegar Kills Weeds -I have seen this all over and wondered if it worked. This gardening site has testimonials of plain white vinegar as a weed killer. Make sure to clean your sprayer after using as vinegar is corrosive and will rust any metal parts.
Want to avoid toxic chemicals like Round Up for weed control? Use cheap, undiluted white vinegar. Works like a charm.
WHAT? Yay, I hate using weed killer! Vinegar kills weeds just as good as Round Up but is a lot cheaper.
