I am doing this project next fall! Kids can never have enough practice with trees! Plus this involves mixing shades of gray for the background and midground. Going to have to figure out the logistics, however, waiting for the layers of paint to dry! They have done some wonderful projects at Lake Mills Community School in Iowa!
Single color wet-on-wet watercolor painting is a wonderful way for young children to learn about and experience color. It is a process art technique used and taught in Waldorf education in schools and homes all over the world. When finished your beautiful creations can be made into cards and other crafts.
